Qualifications

Carry & Deliver Goods (CDG), available at Level 2

In consultation with the freight logistics industry, awarding bodies and other partners, Skills for Logistics have developed a Carry and Deliver Goods S/NVQ. This is a Level 2 qualification aimed at drivers of vans and motorcycles whose job role involves multi-drop deliveries, customer interaction and in some cases, dealing with financial transactions. They must show a sufficient level of competence to complete all 6 mandatory units plus 1 of 2 optional units to obtain this qualification. These units include demonstrating the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers, planning routes and the delivery and collection of goods and materials.
